As we enter the final quarter of the year, the spring in the air brings with it new energy, stronger focus, deeper intention and higher determination.
With 3 months left of 2022, we are starting the final leg of the journey to achieving our goals for the year. To unlock motivation and energy so that we deliver the results we want to achieve by year end, it is important to ensure we have Alignment in 2 key areas:
Align yourself with your goals. Align your thinking and your actions with what you want to achieve by reminding yourself of what it is you intended to deliver to yourself and your life this year. Remove any clutter, confusion and distraction from your life and focus on what is important.
Ensure you are clear about what it is you must do in the next 3 months to close the gap between where you are today and where you want to be by December. We must interrupt repetitive short term thinking and refocus our activities on achieving our main objectives.
At the beginning of the year you set intentions and goals for the different areas of life – profession, wealth, health, family, self etc. Start to live each day with intention and alignment so that you focus on delivering what is important to you
Align Your Team
As a Leader, align your team at work with your targets and your objectives for the year. September is always a powerful time to refocus the team and unlock motivation to multiply energy in the final leg of the year. Your energy, your motivation and your focus will inspire those around you and provide valuable clarity and direction.
Consistent team focus generates momentum and momentum builds confidence and strengthens the combined belief that success is achievable.
Once we have Alignment in ourselves and in our team with our objectives, we must then Plan our months, weeks and days with a pen on paper, prioritising our actions, focusing on the most important activities of the day.
